The vision of Christian Black Belt Academies, International, is to train people with practical and traditional techniques of self-defense while developing their moral and spiritual character.  CBBA is a Christ-centered martial arts organization that believes in promoting integrity, courtesy, loyalty, respect, perseverance, honor and self-control in every student.

The definition of Taekwondo as it relates to the Abishai Style is “a martial art that trains people physically and mentally while emphasizing the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Taekwondo is taught as a defensive art, which develops skills in self-protection, physical agility and mental awareness.

Children:

The children’s program is available for boys and girls ages 6 and up.  Your child begins by practicing basic patterns, moves, forms, board breaking, kicking, blocking and striking.  These fundamental skills increase your child’s physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental awareness. 

Our children’s program also emphasizes moral development and character building.  Children learn respect for themselves and others, increase their concentration, and increase their self-discipline and self-control.  The self-discipline that develops as a result of learning and practicing martial arts often carries over into other areas of the child’s life.  School grades can improve as your child learns to focus on objectives and work towards achievement.  The self-discipline and self-respect that Taekwondo teaches can also provide your child with the skills and mindset necessary to resist peer pressure. 

Adult Program

Our adult program is available for those ages 13 and up.  Adults of all shapes, sizes, and age come to us to help them better themselves and achieve their goals.  Whether you are interested in fitness or self-defense, we are here to help!  Taekwondo provides the benefits of an aerobic workout, while providing a high level of personal challenge.  Taekwondo can also relieve stress and tension, while learning self-defense skills that can build confidence.
